What's the best way to simplify a VCR/TV/DVD player/Cable setup? - the best vcr super vhs multi system professional
My mother is 80 years old, currently has a TV, DVD player, video player and a Comcast cable box. It is used for recording a program (East End), after she goes to bed. Everything is different brands. The TV is pretty good, but the DVD player and video are of low quality.
The current configuration requires use up to 3 remotes, so it is a bit messy. What is an inexpensive way to simplify your configuration is ideally only one remote control? Thank you.

Get a universal remote control that can be learned. The cable box remote control is programmable to a certain extent.
To increase the ease of use, you may want an activity based remote like harmony, but you'll pay a bit for it.
